Thank you for all the support!

12 04 2008

I’m back. I’m really upset that I didn’t carry on with the site but I have noticed that you have kept coming, nearly a year after the original guides had been written.

So I would like to thank you all and announce that I have been working on a new site: Haxxorz.com

The site will be basically about everything from the latest gaming news, to technology news and the occasional bit of fun and I will also be back with my world-acclaimed Hacking guides (For PSP, PC and other stuff!)

Please visit the new site and follow it as it grows.

Thank you,

Dan.

[How To] Run PS1 games on PSP 3.40 oe-a

5 07 2007

UberGaming do not condone the illegal use of PS1 Eboots. We are assuming that you own the original games.

1. Make sure you have 3.40oe-a firmware, you can check in your PSP’s system settings tab then system information. A guide to installing the 3.40 oe-a firmware can be found Here. If you have any firmware other than 3.40 oe-a or 1.50 you will need to downgrade your PSP, a guide can be found Here.

Download the PS1 Eboot/s that you want (recommended site:: PSPiso.com , you need to register first and then go to the ‘PS1 eboot’ thread) You should get two folders, one with a % and one without, if so, put both of these folders in the (your psp)>PSP>GAME folder of your PSP. If you only get an Eboot.PBP file, you need to make a folder with the games name and put it in the GAME folder in your PSP (as shown above).

2. You should now be able to access your game/s by going to the Game tab on your PSP then ‘memory stick‘, if not, you have either put the files in the wrong place or the Eboot is not compatible with 3.40 oe-a.

Have Fun!

Dan.

PSP firmware 3.40 oe-a upgrade/install guide

2 07 2007

Here is the guide some of you have been waiting for!

To upgrade you must have either 1.50, 3.02 oe, 3.03 oe, 3.10 oe or 3.30 oe firmware on your PSP. If you are unsure of what firmware you have go to system settings on your PSP and then go to system information, it should say there, if you don’t have one of these firmwares please go to my PSP downgrade guide Here. UberGaming take no responsibility for anything happening to your PSP and you install the 3.40 oe-a firmware on your own accord.
Okay, now for the guide.

PSP 3.50 Downgrade Guide! [Noob friendly]

1 07 2007

Here is the guide you’ve all been waiting for, with relevant links to files etc and a support thread in the Forums which can be found here. This is written all by me (Dan) and not copied from another site.

Warning: Do not update your PSP via the network update as this will update your PSP to firmware 3.51, which is non-downgradable. You should also note that there is the slightest chance that you could Break/Brick your PSP and UberGaming are not responsible for anything that happens to your PSP. It is also highly recommended that you disable the ‘UMD auto start in your PSP’s system settings. Okay, firstly make sure you have everything you need, make sure you have all of the following;

  • A Sony PSP with 3.50 (update instructions below for lower firmwares below.)
  • A lumines UMD, either the EU (ULES00043) or US (ULUS10002) version. The original, Platinum, or Greatest Hits versions are all fine.
  • The 3.50 downgrader package which can be found here.
